Your Mission & Manifesto (7 Levels Deep)

UPG Team March 17, 2023

Welcome to the “Your Mission & Manifesto” module, where we will build on the mindset work covered in previous modules by helping you create a personal manifesto and daily positive momentum affirmations that will reinforce your mission and purpose.

In previous modules, we helped you define your vision, set goals, and prioritize tasks using the Objective Key Result framework. In this module, we will take the next step by helping you reflect on your purpose, values, and aspirations to create a personal manifesto that serves as a daily reminder of your mission.

Your personal manifesto is a declaration of your beliefs and intentions that guides your daily actions. It will help you stay focused on your mission and purpose, and provide inspiration and motivation when things get tough. In addition to creating your manifesto, we will also help you create daily positive momentum affirmations that will reinforce positive thinking and behavior.

At the end of this module, you will have a powerful and impactful personal manifesto video, as well as positive momentum affirmations that will help you stay focused on your goals. And, if you ever need assistance, you can always create a new chat in ChatGPT to help you stay on track.

Now, let’s dive into the action steps for creating your personal manifesto and daily positive momentum affirmations.

Your mission and purpose are critical components of your personal and professional growth. In previous modules, we explored the 7 levels deep exercise to help you identify your core motivations and desires, and the Goal Setting module to set SMART goals that align with your mission. In this module, we’ll take these concepts to the next level by creating a personal manifesto and positive momentum affirmations that will serve as daily reminders of your mission and help you stay focused on your goals.

Before you begin creating your manifesto, take some time to reflect on your mission statement. This statement should be a clear and concise description of your purpose, values, and aspirations. Consider your strengths, weaknesses, and passions to help you identify your mission statement. We’ll use the 7 levels deep exercise shortly to help you to dig deep and get to the core of what motivates you.

Affirmations are powerful tools for reinforcing positive thinking and behaviour. Use your manifesto as inspiration to create daily positive momentum affirmations. These affirmations should be specific, positive, and actionable statements that will help you stay focused on your mission and achieve your goals. Use the Goal Setting module from previous modules to set SMART goals that align with your affirmations.

With your mission statement in mind, start creating your manifesto. This is a personal document that should be true to your values and serve as a daily reminder of your mission. Write your manifesto in a way that resonates with you and aligns with your personality and values. Consider including visuals created on Canva or another app to support your message and make it more impactful.

Record Your Manifesto Video: Once you have written your manifesto, it’s time to record it as a video. Record yourself speaking or use an AI-generated voice to input the text generated from ChatGPT or other AI tools. Use Descript.io or a similar program to edit and enhance your recording.

Your mission and manifesto should be reviewed and refined regularly. As you grow and evolve, your values and aspirations may change. It’s important to take the time to reflect on your mission and manifesto and make any necessary adjustments. Use the 7 levels deep exercise from previous modules to ensure that your mission statement and manifesto continue to align with your core motivations and desires.

By creating a personal manifesto and positive momentum affirmations, you will have powerful tools to help you stay focused on your mission and achieve your goals. Use ChatGPT or other AI tools to assist you in the creation process.

Here are the step-by-step instructions for creating a personal manifesto video using ChatGPT and Descript:

1. Begin by creating a script for your personal manifesto. This should include a clear statement of your mission and purpose, along with any positive momentum affirmations that you want to include.

2. Open the ChatGPT website and select the chat function. You can then type in your script and have ChatGPT generate a response in video format.

3. Once you have your video generated, download it and save it to your computer.

4. Open the Descript website and create an account if you don’t already have one.

5. Upload your video to Descript and edit it as needed. You can use the tools in Descript to trim the video, adjust the audio levels, and add any other effects that you want.

6. Once you are happy with your video, export it and save it to your computer.

7. You can then use this video as a daily reminder of your mission and purpose, and listen to it regularly to reinforce positive momentum and keep you focused on your goals.

It’s important to remember that when creating your personal manifesto, it’s best to be as specific as possible and avoid making too many changes once you have your script. This will help your brain absorb and believe in your goals more easily.

To complete the Mindset module, and help you lock in all of your progress, The 7 Levels Deep Exercise is a powerful tool for uncovering your motivations and desires, helping you determine what truly drives you to achieve your goals. This challenging exercise requires introspection and self-reflection, leading you through seven levels of understanding to identify what motivates you on a deep and personal level.

By completing the 7 Levels Deep Exercise, you can gain clarity and focus on the things that matter most to you, leading to greater success and fulfillment in life. Watch the video below and take action, but we do suggest you choose a day where your mindset is clear and even better, you have someone that is able to ask you these questions, as opposed to you just reading and writing, it will allow for more spontaneous and genuine internal answers for you to note down.
